Marc Agel

Marc brings over two decades of competitive playing experience and a diverse coaching background to NorthEast Thunder. His playing career includes three years of high school volleyball, four years at the Division III club level for Hartwick College, three years of Yankee USAV competition in Massachusetts, and over 20 years of participation in IREVA–USAV events.

Marc’s coaching experience is equally well-rounded. He spent three seasons as an assistant coach for a Division III women’s collegiate program, two years coaching the Division III men’s club team at SUNY Albany, and four years leading a women’s adult club team in IREVA. Within the junior ranks, he has assisted with Junior Thunder for two years, including one season with a 13U girls team and another with a 15U girls team. Most recently, Marc served as head coach for our 16 Lightning team.

Marc is committed to fostering athlete development at all levels. His coaching philosophy emphasizes technical growth, game IQ, and team cohesion, while encouraging athletes to compete with confidence and integrity.
