NorthEast Thunder Volleyball Club, entering its 26th year, is a premier destination for competitive girls’ volleyball in the Capital District. Our club is based at the state-of-the-art Impact Athletic Center and includes some of the top high school players in the area.
Our mission is to cultivate a love for the game and a desire to improve among our players. We believe in playing hard, having fun, and pushing ourselves to the next level. We want to grow the player as a whole person, emphasizing strong core values, with each team participating in volunteer opportunities throughout the season.
During a typical season, about 100+ players are part of the club, with travel teams at the 12u, 13u, 14u, 15u, 16u, 17u/18u age levels. Ages 13u-18u divisions are girls teams only, 12u is co-ed.
Our teams are generally very competitive at tournaments at all age levels, firmly establishing NET as one of the strongest clubs in the region. NET also offers a Junior Thunder Program to teach the fundamentals of volleyball to beginning players ages 8-12.

Tryouts will be held at Impact Athletic Center, 390 NY-146, Halfmoon, NY 12065.
Friday, July 10th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM : 13u - 18u
Tuesday, July 14th, 5:30 - 7:00 PM : 16u - 18u Only
Thursday, July 16th, 5:30 - 7:00 PM : 13u-15u Only
Tryout Fee:
The 2026-2027 Tryout fee will be $40, due at the time of registration.
